Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) Executive Board Endorses Congressman Rob Menendez for Re-election

TRENTON, NJ – The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) executive board proudly announces its endorsement of Congressman Rob Menendez for re-election.

As the representative for the 8th Congressional District, Congressman Rob Menendez has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to the well-being and safety of our communities. His tireless efforts to support policies that enhance public safety, provide resources for first responders, and improve the overall quality of life align seamlessly with the mission and values of PFANJ.

Throughout his short tenure in office, Congressman Rob Menendez has been a staunch advocate for firefighter rights, ensuring that our brave men and women on the front lines have the resources, training, and support necessary to carry out their duties effectively and safely. His dedication to addressing firefighters’ unique challenges in New Jersey has not gone unnoticed, earning him the respect and admiration of PFANJ members.

The Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ) was established and chartered as a State Association by the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) on October 29, 1929. It is a member of the AFL-CIO. The PFANJ represents nearly three thousand five hundred (3,500) Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians, Instructors, and Dispatchers through its over sixty (60) locals. Its local affiliates represent first responders who work in dispatch centers, academies, airports, fire districts, suburban municipalities, and the state’s largest and busiest urban fire departments.
